Authentic Mediterranean Restaurant · 2026
Overview
A full website redesign for Al Ameer — an authentic Mediterranean restaurant with 100% halal-certified cuisine, an on-site catering arm, and an online ordering flow. The new site reads as ‘serious about food, easy to order from’: a chef-led hero, a daily-specials band, a scannable menu by category, and ordering built into every page.
The old site looked like a generic restaurant template — a busy stock photo hero, scattered menu information, and an ordering path that pushed visitors out to a third-party app before they had decided what to eat. We needed a site that felt as warm as the cuisine and converted hungry traffic into a placed order before they navigated away.
We rebuilt around a Before/After narrative that opens the case, then a deep-green and cream identity anchored by a chef portrait, golden accent dishes, and a typography system that reads as ‘heritage Mediterranean’ without leaning kitsch. The home flow is: Authentic cuisine → Today's specials → Browse menu → Order. A 30-minute delivery promise, a testimonials band and an Instagram wall close the page.
A site that converts ordering intent at the home page, surfaces the menu the way diners actually browse (by mood, not by category), and lets the catering arm of the business breathe alongside the dine-in story — all in one consistent visual system.
